Elegant, vibrant white wine made from Chardonnay grapes grown in the Wairau and Awatere Valleys in New Zealand’s famed Marlborough winemaking region, situated on the northeastern coast of the country’s South Island. Benefiting from Marlborough’s cool climate, the grapes are lightly pressed then fermented in stainless steel tanks. A portion of ferment is then transferred to French oak barriques – relatively small barrels synonymous with Bordeaux – and slow fermented for several weeks before being matured over months, aiming to achieve maximum softness and the full expression of varietal flavors. The final wine is blended then filtered before bottling. Creamy and delicate, the wine presents aromas of fragrant white peach, with lively, crisp green fruit, fresh citrus and hints of tropical fruit, underscored by tart acidity and a touch of oak. Chill before enjoying as an aperitif or pair with pan fried fish, roast chicken, quiche and seafood pastas. 13.5% ABV.
